Rev 6:12 - Rev 11:7 (1260 Days)
First Half
|
Rev 11:8 - Rev 19:21 (1260 Days)
Second Half
|
Rev 11:3 (2 witnesses testify 1260 days)
|
Rev 11:2 (Jerusalem trodden 42 months)
|
|
Rev 12:14 (Israel in wilderness 3.5 years)
|
|
Rev 13:5 (antichrist continues 42 months)
|
|
Rev 12:6 woman (Israel) in wilderness 1260 days

Since the "testimony of Jesus is
the spirit (key) of prophecy"
(Rev 19:10), what did
Jesus say? Jesus said, When ye therefore
shall
see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet,
stand
in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)...For then
shall
be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world
to
this time, no, nor ever shall be. -- Matthew
24:15,21
Now read He shall confirm the covenant
with many for ONE WEEK: and in the MIDST of the WEEK he shall cause the
sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of
abominations he
shall make it desolate, even unto the consummation...-- Daniel
9:27
There we have the KEY, the antichrist is in the temple in the MIDST of
the week. We can take this and make sense out of the chronology
of the trumpet judgments. We can start with those related to the
antichrist (knowing he appears in the temple in the middle) and work
forward and backward from there. We already know the witnesses
testify for 1260 days and that they are killed by the antichrist.
|
And I will give power unto my
two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and
threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.
-- Revelation 11:3
|
2 Thes 2:4
|
Antichrist (from the bottomless pit) kills the
witnesses
Rev 11:7
Bodies lie in street for 3.5 days
Rev 11:8-9
|
|
Dan 9:27
|
Witnesses rise from the dead at the time of the
2nd woe (6th trumpet)
Rev 11:11-14
6th trumpet is 3.5 days after mid-point
Great earthquake, 10th of city fell
7000 die
|
5th
trumpet Rev 9:2-12 (1st woe)
(Locusts that torment men for 5 months)
This must occur in the first half of the tribulation.
This could well mean that the 1st woe starts
exactly 5 months before the midpoint. But, since it lasts
5 months and precedes the 6th trumpet, it must be
at least 5 months before the midpoint.
|
Midst
of
the
Week
|
|
Since trumpets 1-4 precede the 5th, all trumpets are
in the first half including:
1st Trumpet Rev 8:7 hail and fire mingled with blood 1/3 trees
and all green grass Burned
2nd Trumpet Rev 8:8 "mountain" cast into sea
burning with fire. 1/3 of sea is blood
Rev 8:9 1/3 creatures and ships
(sounds like a nuclear war)
3rd trumpet Rev 8:10 great star burning as a lamp 1/3 waters made
bitter
(sounds like nuclear fallout)
4th trumpet Rev 8:12 1/3 of moon, sun, stars smitten darkened, day
shone not 1/3
(sounds like a nuclear cloud)
5th trumpet was covered above
(this is the last judgment of the first half)

Rev 13
|
Rev 13 -
The Reign of Antichrist
Rev 13:5 42 months
The rise of the false prophet, the marking system, and
forced worship.
The 3rd woe is the anger of the cast-out Satan who
begins the program of persecution in the person of
the antichrist and the false prophet.
Rev 13:7,15
The antichrist presents himself as God perhaps after
a resurrection at the midpoint. Resurrection is
speculative somewhat. He does come out of the "bottomless pit" at
the midpoint. See Rev 11:7. |
