information is offered with the hope that YOU can come to KNOW the Lord
personally. Next week (May 6, 2002) the Congress is considering legislation requiring a computer chip in all Drivers’ Licenses. As recently as last month the FDA (Food and Drug Administration) has come out and officially given its approval for an “ID computer chip” to be implanted subcutaneously (under the skin) on each person, “as long as it does not contain medical information.” This technology already exists and is being provided by a British company to be used in domestic animals and dairy herds, etc. Of course, if the chip contains 1 unique number, assigned to only one person, then, no additional information need be on the chip itself to provide everything there is to know about someone. The number will be transmitted over the phone lines into the central data base and whatever information is stored about that person will then be returned to the requestor (just like a credit card transaction). http://dailynews.netscape.com of May 11, 2002 BOCA RATON, Fla. (AP) - A Florida family on Friday became the first to be implanted with computer chips that researchers hope will someday become an easy way to provide emergency room staffers with patients' medical information. The chips, called the VeriChip, were designed by Palm Beach-based Applied Digital Solutions Inc. They are similar to chips implanted in pets to identify them if they are lost. The family wanted the implants in case of future medical emergencies. The chips used by the Jacobs family contain only telephone numbers and information about previous medications. The data can be read by a hand-held computer and printed out. The Food and Drug Administration said in April that it would not regulate the implant as long as it contains no medical data. Company officials said they were free to proceed because the implant contains IDENTIFICATION NUMBERS that correspond to personal medical information in a separate database. The FDA did not consider the implant to be a medical device, company officials said. An FDA spokeswoman in Miami did not immediately return a phone call. The FDA had said regulation would be needed if medical records were stored to guard against storage of outdated records. The phrase “to guard against storage of outdated records ” implies that when such a system is in place, all records for a person must be stored in a centralized database for immediate retrieval over computer networks (such as the internet). Imagine the DEMAND to implement such an identification system once “The Rapture” (the disappearance ) has taken place, not to mention the current pent up demand for IDs to control “terrorists” (the purported reason behind the pending Congressional legislation). Imagine infants and other loved ones vanishing and the effects it will have on the population LEFT BEHIND. Those LEFT BEHIND will have no idea what happened to the missing and could DEMAND an ID system. Our original intent in matters is not always what eventuates. Read these words- Revelation 13:16-18 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six. The “beast” is another word for the enforcer of the Peace Agreement. The “mark” is a computer chip. The current chip technology allows the chip to emit a signal up to 200 feet and computer equipment can readily identify the one “wearing” the mark. For example, if you drive past a checkpoint, you can be instantly identified. If you find yourself LEFT BEHIND, do NOT accept the “mark”. The consequences are awful . Remember our discussion in “The Fight Against Terrorism.” 2 Thessalonians 2:7-11 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And FOR THIS CAUSE God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: We see that “because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved… FOR THIS CAUSE God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:” In other words, they REJECT the love of God in Jesus Christ who IS the TRUTH. Jesus said, “ I AM the WAY, the TRUTH, and the LIFE; no man comes to the Father but by me.” (John 14:6) What is the “strong delusion?” Answer – “signs and lying wonders .” What is the origin of these “signs and lying wonders ?” Answer – “Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders.” The power to perform these “lying wonders” will be through the “ power ” and “ working of Satan.” Apparently, the “him” (the Antichrist) will be worshiped on account of the miracle of his resurrection and the miracles of his promoter. Read these words. Revelation 13:7-18 And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations. And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world. [We see here that the “beast”, also called the “first beast ”, will “make war with the saints” and “overcome them.” He is given “power…over all kindreds, tongues, and nations.” Notice that “all…shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.” So, in God’s reckoning Jesus was slain (on the cross) from the beginning and those that will not be saved will worship the “beast” (Antichrist).] And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon. And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men, And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live. [We see here that “another beast” who is “like a lamb ” exercises the power of the first beast, causing people to “ worship the first beast” which had been wounded by a sword (a deadly wound) and yet he is alive. Many have referred to this 2nd beast who is “ like a lamb” as the false prophet. The false prophet promotes the worship of the Antichrist and tells the people to “make an image to the beast.”] And he [the false prophet] had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed. And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six. We note that the false prophet will cause the image to speak and cause anyone who will not worship the image to be killed. He also will cause ALL to receive a mark without which no man is able to buy or sell. Therefore, those that worship the Antichrist will receive a mark. Those who will not worship the Antichrist will be killed. This is truly “the hour of temptation.” Either worship the Antichrist and live or worship Christ and be killed. Please understand that the mark is used in connection with worship. The presence of a “ mark ” for commerce or medical purposes is (on the face of it) an acceptable practice. The condemnation of God comes about when a person rejects Christ and chooses to worship another. The presence of the ultimate “mark” will eventually demonstrate a person’s rejection of Jesus Christ. Please note that the verse says “he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.” This means that the “mark” associates a person with the “beast ” (antichrist). Revelation 3:10 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. The words in Rev 3:10 are for the church, the believers, to be removed from the earth prior to the “tribulation.” However, after the church is removed people LEFT BEHIND will have to endure the “ hour of temptation ” and make the choice of Christ or Antichrist. What happens to those who accept the mark and worship the Antichrist? Revelation 14:9-13 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name. Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus. And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them. As we see, those who take the mark will have “no rest day nor night for ever and ever”. However, those who “die in the Lord ” will “rest from their labors.” Those who accept Christ during the 7-year tribulation will be saved but they will have to die at the hands of the Antichrist, the false prophet, and the world’s security forces over which the Antichrist has power. 01-11-2005 From the following website http://www.ameinfo.com/news/Detailed/51977.html we read how a familiar political figure in the Middle east wants to make Jordan an ITC hub for the Middle Eastern area utilizing FastLink software. newly discovered fragment of the oldest surviving copy of the New
Testament indicates that, as far as the Antichrist goes, theologians,
scholars, heavy metal groups, and television evangelists have got the
wrong number. Instead of 666, it's actually the far less ominous 616. Comment- Isaiah 40:8 The grass withereth, the flower
fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for
ever. Or, if you prefer the humorous version- 616, hmmm, must have
been on sale. Never trust a "scholar".
I guess when some scholars get their 666
(after reading the professor) they will file a protest with the
Interstate Commerce Commission claiming that the false prophet is
guilty of fraudulent product labelling. End

man will be allowed to buy or sell unless he has the mark, or
the name
of the beast, or the number of
his name. So, if one has the NAME of the
beast, one can buy and sell. And, if one has the NUMBER of the beast, one can buy
and sell. We read that he causeth all ... to
receive a mark. Who is "he" that causeth? The
antichrist? No, it is clear that this is the false prophet.
The false prophet is described starting with verse Rev 13:11. And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon. -- Revelation 13:11 [in other words, this beast is Christ-like, Christ being the Lamb of God, but the beast speaks as Satan would speak, the dragon.] And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.-- Revelation 13:12 [This beast exercises ALL the power of the 1st beast and CAUSES the people to WORSHIP the first beast. The role of the false prophet, who appears Christ-like, but speaks the words just like Satan, is to cause WORSHIP and to do false miracles in front of the people to deceive them. See Rev 19:20 for the identification of the second beast as the false prophet. The following are his miracles:] And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men, -- Revelation 13:13 [The false prophet is like the two witnesses of God who have fire proceed from their mouth to defeat their enemies, Rev 11:5. By the way, the false prophet arises during the 2nd half of the tribulation contemporary with the extended power of the antichrist for 42 months. The 10 kings also give their power and strength to the antichrist, all of whom receive power one "hour", Rev 17:12-13. This "hour" must be 42 months.] And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live. -- Revelation 13:14 [the false prophet has deceived the people through his miracles and now causes the people to make an image to the first beast, aka antichrist, whom they are to worship. The false prophet is a religious figure. I wonder if the false prophet is connected to Mystery Babylon the Great. Are there talking religious statues that grant miracles? I went to Office Depot on Friday and paid by check. They voided my check and handed it back to me and then debited my account. I did not authorize them to debit my account.
